Jr. Experience Designer

You bring curiosity, empathy, and problem-solving skills to all aspects of your work. In collaborating with senior designers, you help create designs for digital products and experiences, from concept to implementation, that reflect strategic research and insights, while solving for client business challenges. While you may only have a basic understanding of experience design principles and processes, you actively absorb information and best practices through hands-on project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help generate design concepts
  • Produce artifacts including wireframes, prototypes, visual design specifications, motion design, and presentations for a variety of client types and industries
  • Work to achieve defined KPIs and satisfy users through design
  • Share work in progress and participate in design reviews
  • Help create clear and thorough documentation and prototypes
  • Participate in team & client workshops
  • Receive and act upon constructive feedback
  • Present project work internally
  • Observe user research
  • Participate in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach that uses design methodologies to help solve enterprise business problems
  • Create experience solutions and digital products that bring utility and real value to people, strengthening the relationship that companies have with their employees or customers

Qualifications, Certifications & Education:

  • A portfolio reflecting design experience in a web and/or digital product environment
  • Foundational knowledge of interaction design, visual design, and related software
  • BFA in Design (or similar degree)
  • A passion for learning about the world, human behavior, and the motivations that lie beneath the surface to create solutions that fit into people’s lives
  • A desire to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary groups across a variety of complex projects
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
