Prior to her current user research role, Emmy’s focus was on Sales Strategy and Effectiveness where she would deep dive into her clients’ sales organization, including interviewing sales reps and sales leadership across regions to understand their journeys and care-abouts, and pain points. User research reminds Emmy that the human beings she’s designing for have varying mental models and that no product should be a “one size fits all.” She’s also passionate about content strategy and believes it’s a crucial part of successful design projects. Outside of the studio, Emmy likes riding her bike a lot, hiking, skiing, backpacking and drinking too much coffee. If she’s not at work, she’s probably outdoors (unless it’s sleeting).
