Steve earned his MA in Psychology-Human Factors from George Mason University and his BA in Sociology from the University of Virginia. He brings more than two decades of system and interface design and usability experience to our team. He previously worked in IT before returning to school to learn how humans perceive and process information so that he could put that knowledge toward designing better systems. After earning his Master’s degree, he spent five years conducting advanced research for the Department of Transportation. There, he designed and ran experiments to help develop the next wave of air traffic control tower systems and vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology for ground transportation. On our team he works closely with clients across financial services, retail, healthcare/pharmaceutical, technology and education to help improve their users’ experiences. Outside of work, Steve enjoys going to concerts, playing golf, and checking countries off of his To Visit list with his wife.
