Having grown up drawing from an early age, Xing thought she would become an artist. Or maybe a mime (a short-lived dream). Halfway through a fine arts degree, she learned she could be creative, collaborative, and earn a stable income using her artistic sensibilities. Armed with an interaction design degree from the University of Washington, she moved across the country upon graduation, to apply her design and research learnings at the EY NY Studio. Xing has since returned to the West Coast and in her spare time she draws and plays video games. She also hopes to lean into her Pacific Northwest heritage and go camping one day.
