Agustina Torres Ponisio Researcher, Argentina,
EY Design Studio LAS

From an early age, Agustina felt uncomfortable with the injustices she perceived on a daily basis and the prejudices that drove them.

When she finished high school, she decided to enroll in a Biotechnology career driven by the desire to contribute her grain of sand to scientific development and align herself with her family's career path (oriented towards medicine).

As the weeks went by, she began to discover that biotechnology did not respond to the concerns she felt about the society in which she lived. She felt she could take a more active role or understand the reasons for many of the situations she witnessed. That is why she decided to make a 180º turn and enrolled in a Political Science degree program.

As a student in her new career, she actively participated in the student council and took part in volunteer work with social impact. She worked in different market research consulting firms where she developed her skills in qualitative research and project management.

She joined EY Design Studio LAS to add value to design projects as a researcher. In her free time, she enjoys watching suspense and science fiction series, reading novels and taking courses. She is a fan of mate amargo.
